Please be advised that our system does not support the 802.11G wireless standard.  This is the case with nearly all public WiFi Hotspots and WISP operations.  Wireless "G" mode operation offers enhanced throughput when near perfect radio link conditions exist between the network's wireless Access Point and the mobile client device.  Such conditions will rarely, if ever, exist in wide-area WiFi Hotspot system architectures.

Please configure your wireless connection to operate exclusively in 802.11B Mode.

Utilizing "automatic" mode selection or  "mixed" mode selection will result in major connectivity issues between your PC and our network.

These include packet duplication, packet drop-out, loss of association / authentication, etc.

Three (3) TekMen Wireless Access Point base stations are available in your operating area.  Please connect to the Access Point (TekMen Wireless 1, 2, or 3) that consistently offers you the highest link quality. This will not necessarily be the base station that presents the highest signal strength.  Your PC will "roam" seamlessly between our Access Points, assuming proper mode configuration and minimum required link quality.

Please note that it is not possible for our network to negotiate client link speeds less than 1 Mbps.  Our minimum sustained link rate is nineteen (19) times faster than the best possible dial-up Internet connection. If the link quality between your PC and our network access point had dropped below the one (1) Mbps level, our base station controllers would have dropped the connection and prevented re-association of your MAC address until such time that the link could sustain a one (1) Mbps throughput rate.

The performance of your web browser, PC networking applications and third party web sites / servers is beyond our control.  Regretfully we are unable to support you in this regard.

Please refer to the original equipment manufacturer's documentation of your PC,  wireless network card, and software for further details.

If you have any questions or require additional support please do not hesitate to contact us.
